Break-even win rate, after costs.
Spread and commission come off every trade, the winners too. Enter your target and your costs to see the win rate you really need.
Your average hides the checks that cost you.
Edge Builder shows what each of your checks made or cost you, from your own trades.
How it’s calculated
Everything is in R, where 1R is what one trade risks. A winner pays your target minus costs, and a loser costs 1R plus costs.
Break-even win rate = (1 + costs) ÷ (target + 1).
Average result per trade = win rate × (target + 1) − (1 + costs).
Without costs this is the familiar 1 ÷ (1 + target): 50% at 1R, 33.3% at 2R and 25% at 3R.
