Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, and why.
Effective date: 2025-06-20 · Mizznes BV, België
EdgeFlow uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies (localStorage). This page lists each one and explains how to control them, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive, Belgian law and CCPA/CPRA disclosure principles. EdgeFlow does not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, session-replay tools or cross-site fingerprinting.
1. Strictly necessary
Required for the service to work. Set once you interact with EdgeFlow. No prior consent required under EU law.
- ee_token — your login session (JWT). localStorage. Lifetime: 30 days or until logout.
- ee_account_id — remembers which trading account is currently active. localStorage.
- cookie_consent_v1 — remembers your cookie preferences so we don't ask again. localStorage. Lifetime: 12 months.
- Stripe cookies (during checkout) — fraud prevention, set by Stripe. See Stripe's cookie policy.
2. Functional
Improve your experience. Not required to run the service. Set only if you consent via the cookie banner.
- ee_onboarding_done — hides the initial onboarding tour once completed. localStorage.
- edgeengine_account_balance / display_mode / risk_per_r — remembers UI preferences (unit display, risk sizing). localStorage.
- edgeflow-trade-prefill — remembers your most recent Add-Trade values for faster entry. localStorage.
- tradingcircle_accounts / active_account — legacy multi-account selection cache. localStorage.
- pendingCheckout — remembers the plan you selected if you were mid-checkout. Cleared after checkout.
- ef_referral_code — records the affiliate/referral code from your landing URL, so credit is attributed if you sign up. localStorage. Expires 30 days after set (cleared on next visit if older).
- flow_last_greeting / ef_weekly_reminder — prevents repeat in-app notifications. localStorage.
3. Analytics
Help us understand how EdgeFlow is used so we can improve it. Set only if you consent via the cookie banner. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or third-party session-replay.
- First-party error telemetry — anonymised UI error events sent to
/api/telemetry. Contains error message + route only, no personal data.
4. Managing consent
The first time you visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, or by clearing your browser's site data for https://youredgeflow.com. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to sign in, use EdgeFlow or process payments.
You can also block cookies directly in your browser. Note this may break parts of EdgeFlow (e.g. login won't persist).
5. Third-party embedded services
- Stripe — during checkout. Strictly necessary for payment fraud prevention.
6. Changes
We will update this page when we add or remove cookies. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version.
