Risk Disclosure
What EdgeFlow is, what it is not, and the risks of trading.
Effective date: 2025-06-20 · Mizznes BV, België
1. What EdgeFlow is
EdgeFlow is trading-journal and analytics software operated by Mizznes BV (KBO 1026.527.343), a Belgian company trading as EdgeFlow. It analyses trade data you enter and surfaces statistical patterns.
2. What EdgeFlow is not
- EdgeFlow is not an investment adviser, broker, exchange, custodian or fiduciary.
- EdgeFlow does not execute trades, hold client funds or route orders.
- EdgeFlow does not provide personalised investment, financial, legal or tax advice.
- EdgeFlow does not guarantee profits or predict market direction.
3. Trading involves substantial risk
Trading financial instruments, including futures, forex, cryptocurrencies and derivatives, carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than your initial deposit. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses.
Before trading you should:
- Carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite.
- Seek advice from an independent, licensed financial adviser if in doubt.
- Only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely.
4. Past performance is not indicative of future results
Statistics and insights surfaced by EdgeFlow are computed from your historical trade data. They describe what has happened, not what will happen. Sample-size, market regime, data quality and your own consistency all affect whether a historical pattern persists.
5. Analytics limitations
- Small samples mislead. Expectancy from fewer than 30–50 trades is highly unstable.
- Data quality matters. Missing tags, wrong R-values or incomplete entries distort every downstream metric.
- Market regimes shift. A setup that worked in a trending market may fail in ranges — and vice versa.
- Confirmation bias is real. EdgeFlow shows you segments that look strong or weak; you are still responsible for judging whether they generalise.
6. AI-generated insights
Where AI features are used, they process a summary of your trade data (entry, exit, R-multiple, tags, rule violations) to generate written observations. AI output is probabilistic, may contain errors, and must never be relied on as advice. You are solely responsible for any decision you take.
7. Your responsibility
You alone decide when, what and how to trade. Mizznes BV accepts no liability for trading losses, missed opportunities or decisions influenced by EdgeFlow's output. Consumer rights that cannot be waived under Belgian law remain unaffected.
8. Regulatory status
Mizznes BV is not registered with any financial regulator (FSMA Belgium, ESMA, FCA, SEC, CFTC or otherwise) because EdgeFlow is software, not a regulated financial service. If your local law requires such registration for the activities you perform using EdgeFlow, you are responsible for that compliance.
