For Crypto Traders

A Crypto Trading Journal Focused on Edge Development

Crypto never closes, volatility can shift by an order of magnitude across a week, and correlations rotate. A useful journal has to capture that context, not average across it. EdgeFlow tracks environment, session and process layers so a setup can be measured under the conditions it was actually traded in.

Always-open markets

Because there is no closing bell, arbitrary session tags will produce misleading results. EdgeFlow lets you define the sessions and liquidity windows you actually trade so the analysis reflects your real market, not a legacy schedule.

Changing volatility

Volatility regime is captured on the trade itself. The same setup behaves very differently in a compressed range and after a macro-driven expansion. Splitting cohorts by volatility often reveals which environment is doing all of the work.

Environment classification

Higher-, middle- and lower-timeframe state are logged for every trade. A trend-continuation setup and a mean-reversion setup can be separated cleanly, and the same instrument can be reanalysed after a regime shift instead of being carried forward with stale conclusions.

Setup performance

Confluences are broken into required, supporting and disqualifying conditions per plan. That way “A+ setup” has a definition, and the data can answer whether each confluence is contributing to expectancy or just adding friction.

Execution

Stop placement, entry timeframe and rule adherence sit in their own layer. Comparing planned and realized R separates a broken strategy from a well-behaved strategy that is being executed inconsistently.

Trade management

Break-even, trailing, partials and early exits are tracked with MAE, MFE and capture percent per trade. The cost of a specific management style becomes measurable and can be compared against an idealized exit.

Exchanges

EdgeFlow is not tied to a specific exchange. Trades are entered directly, pasted or imported from CSV files exported from a platform. Symbol, position size and fees are captured on the trade.
